It’s my birthday, let’s celebrate!

How do we celebrate birthdays? With friends and family, with the people we love, with the people who get us and have something in common with us. This year, I wanted to mark my birthday by celebrating it with people who are passionate about the same things that I’m passionate about. That’s why we’re hosting a free online webinar on the 1st of December so that it’s available to anyone who wants to come, it’s my birthday gift to you!

I umm’ed and aah’ed about what to talk about. I thought about sharing the 5 most important financial reports, or how AI is impacting the sector, some key learning or education, but it’s the end of the year and I’m too tired for that! I want to be inspired and motivated and reminded why we do what we do. I decided to talk about the one thing that is close to my heart: Non-Profits! I’ve titled it ‘What’s the point of NPOs? Why do they even exist?’ and we’ll unpack the history of NPOs from giving alms to the poor to what we know today, emphasizing the purpose of NPOs and the critical role that NPOs play in our society.

So, come and join me in celebrating my birthday and also the sector that we work in and the many lives that we change through all the hard work that we do. This is a time for celebration of the achievements we have had this year! As it’s a celebration, please wear a party hat or bring a birthday prop so that we have a bit of fun while we celebrate with a purpose.
